A closer look at Page 1

As promised here is a larger photograph of page 1, created by DMC and returned in super-fast time.  Once again, huge thanks to DMC for agreeing to get involved.

If you can, please take a little time to visit the following links where you can learn more about prostate cancer, learn more about the artist who has contributed, and perhaps donate a bit of spare change.

Page 1: DMC

Page 1 is complete and we are officially underway!  Huge thanks to DMC for kicking the project off and getting the book back so quickly.  I'd anticipated the project taking at least 12 months but at this rate we'll be done within a year!

The picture below was posted to DMC's Instagram page, where you can find more of his work.  If you like your street art on the slightly melancholic side, definitely check him out.  You can find out more via his website where there are also prints for sale - www.manchini.co.uk

As soon as the book arrives I'll take a higher resolution image so you can see what you're bidding on. If you aren't able to bid on the completed book, there is a JustGiving page too.  Any amount is hugely appreciated so if you happen to have a quid left in your PayPal account and can't find anything to spend it on, you could always put it to good use by sending it our way.

Follow the links below to learn a bit more about Prostate Cancer UK, the disease that affects 1 in 8 men in the United Kingdom, our first artist and where you can donate your spare change.

Men United

As part of the 'Twenty' project it only seems right that I share with you a little more information about the charity for which it is raising money.

If you're in the UK I've no doubt you'll have seen the following advert:

I recommend that you fellas take a look at the Prostate Cancer UK website and learn a bit more about the disease.  Some of the facts are quite shocking and anything we can do to raise the awareness of its prominence is a step in the right direction.

Just Giving

The "Twenty" project now has a Just Giving page.  I appreciate that not everyone will be able to bid on what I anticipate to be a much sought after collection of original artwork, so for those who are unsuccessful in their bidding there is another way in which they can help raise awareness!

Please take a moment to have a look at the Prostate Cancer UK website and learn a little more about the disease that is affecting 1 in 8 men.

If you aren't able to donate, please share the page :)

Twenty: An introduction

One sketchbook. 20 pages. 20 artists.

This project will see a single sketchbook shared amongst artists, each adding something unique to one of the 20 blank pages.

The end goal is to have a book filled with a variety of work from artists across the country (world? maybe) that will then be auctioned off for a worthy cause.  Exactly who the proceeds will go to is currently undecided, but I'll be canvassing opinion from anyone who gets involved (feel free to comment with your suggestions!)

The book will soon be sent to the first artist and once page 1 is complete you'll be able to see it here!!

Until then, I'll be e-mailing/messaging/begging artists to contribute to the book.

You can also keep track of the book by following these links:
